Please Read Carefully

Terms & Conditions

The following terms apply to all cosmetic tattoo services provided by Allure Microblading. By booking an appointment you agree to these terms in full.

Informed Consent

Cosmetic tattooing (including microblading, nano brows, ombre brows, eyeliner, lip blush, beauty marks, freckles and related procedures) is a form of semi-permanent makeup that involves depositing pigment into the skin. By proceeding with a booking you acknowledge and accept the following:

Who We Cannot Treat

For your safety, we are unable to perform cosmetic tattoo procedures on the following individuals:

Please let us know if you have or have had allergic reactions to topical anaesthetics. We use lidocaine and prilocaine.

If you are under the care of a physician you must obtain written clearance from them prior to your procedure.

Client Disclosure and Responsibility

You are required to fully and honestly disclose all relevant medical conditions, medications, allergies, skin conditions, previous cosmetic tattoo work and any other information that may affect the safety or outcome of your procedure.

This includes but is not limited to medications, supplements, recent treatments (e.g. chemical peels, laser, Botox, fillers), skin conditions, autoimmune conditions and any changes to your health since your last appointment.

Failure to disclose relevant information may compromise the safety and results of the procedure. Allure Microblading accepts no liability for complications, adverse reactions or unsatisfactory results arising from incomplete or inaccurate information provided by the client.

By proceeding with a booking you confirm that the information you have provided is true and complete to the best of your knowledge.

Patch Testing

A patch test is available upon request at additional cost and must be completed at least 48 hours before the main procedure. If you choose not to undertake a patch test, you accept the risk and release the technician from any liability related to allergic reactions or sensitivities to the pigments, topical anaesthetics or other products used during treatment.

Please be aware that there are traces of Nickel in the needles and pigments used. The patch test may not conclusively confirm a Nickel allergy or predict all possible reactions to the products used.

Results and Limitations

Every effort is made to deliver the best possible outcome for each client. However, Allure Microblading cannot guarantee specific results as each person's skin responds to pigment and technique differently.

Factors that influence results include skin type, skin condition, oiliness, health conditions, medications, lifestyle, sun exposure, skincare routine and how closely aftercare instructions are followed. Clients with oily skin, large pores or certain skin conditions may experience faster fading, less defined strokes or lower pigment retention.

If you are unhappy with the outcome of your treatment, please contact us. We are committed to working with you and will always do our best to achieve a result you are happy with. However, we do not offer refunds or free corrections as the treatment has been carried out at our time and cost, using single-use materials.

Aftercare

Detailed aftercare instructions will be provided following your procedure. It is your responsibility to follow these instructions carefully, as proper aftercare is essential to achieving the best possible result and avoiding complications.

Allure Microblading accepts no responsibility for poor results, pigment loss, infection or other complications that arise from failure to follow the aftercare instructions provided.

Booking and Deposits

A deposit of $50 is required to secure your appointment. The deposit is valid for 6 months and is non-refundable. It will be deducted from your final payment after the second session. The deposit must be received at least 24 hours prior to your appointment or the booking will be cancelled.

Rescheduling must be done at least 3 days prior to your appointment.

Any client who does not attend a scheduled appointment will forfeit their deposit. Before being rescheduled, the client will be required to pay for any future appointments in full, plus the fee for the missed appointment. No exceptions.

You must arrive on time. Late arrivals may result in the loss of your appointment and deposit, as delays affect the rest of the day's schedule.

Refund and Cancellation Policy

No refund, compensation or exchange is offered for any completed service, missed appointment or in any other case. We reserve the right to refuse service at our discretion. Prices are subject to change at any time without prior notice.

This policy does not affect your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993. All services are performed with reasonable care and skill by a qualified and experienced cosmetic tattoo technician.

Touch-Up Sessions

Cosmetic tattooing typically requires more than one session. We recommend at least 2 sessions for the best result. The first touch-up must be booked and completed within the following timeframes:

Eyebrow and Eyeliner4 to 6 weeks
Lips8 to 10 weeks
Nipple6 to 8 weeks

An additional charge will apply for clients who do not schedule or complete their first touch-up session within these timeframes.

Previous Cosmetic Tattoo Work

If you have had your eyebrows or any other area previously tattooed by another technician, you must email us a clear photo before booking. We cannot guarantee results and must confirm that the existing work is suitable for correction or cover-up.

If the previous work is too dark, dense, discoloured or oversized, a colour correction procedure or tattoo removal may be required before we can begin. Cover-up, correction and reconstruction work carries an additional charge of $100 on top of our listed prices. For full pricing details, please visit our Pricing page.

Hygiene and Safety Standards

Allure Microblading operates in compliance with New Zealand health and safety regulations. All needles, blades and machine components are single-use, sterile and disposed of immediately after each procedure. Work surfaces and equipment are sanitised between clients using hospital-grade disinfectant.

We use pigments that are compliant with European ResAP (2008), New Zealand, Australian and US FDA cosmetic safety standards.
